The Ascension Names and Terms Glossary
Published in Paperback by iUniverse.com (July, 2001)
Authors: Joshua David, Dr Stone and Sarayon Michael White
Average review score:

Superb Companion Book!
If you read Dr. Stone's other book's, you'll really enjoy this glossary. Whenever I feel to tired to read a book, I flip open this glossary and read a couple of pages. You can learn expanded amounts of information just by reading a single page. Also, look for Sarayon Michael White's books in the future. He is really amazing. You can read about him and his service work at [website]. Read the "messages" section. Very inspiring.

Baby Animals
Published in School & Library Binding by Watermill Pr (March, 1993)
Authors: Joanne Mattern and Lynn M. Stone
Average review score:

A little information in a little book
A little information about 10 baby animals is given in this book. The name of the baby, what they eat or something about them that is unique is included. One short page is written about each of these baby animals: raccoons, foals (baby horse), fawns, lambs, ducklings, coyote pups, elephant calves, lion cubs, zebra colts, kittens and puppies. This book is great for introducing small children to the animal world. I would have given this book 4 stars because it is made on paper that will wear out quickly, but the price makes up for this.

My baby loves this book. She carries it wherever she goes. I am buying this book again because the one she has belongs to my niece who also loves this book. Right now we are having to take turns sharing it. My niece can 'read' it and feels very proud of herself.

Beauty and the Badge (Silhouette Intimate Moments, 952)

Author: Lyn Stone
Average review score:

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !
In BEAUTY AND THE BADGE, we meet Mary Shaw, a preschool teacher who was an unfortunate witness to a murder. We also meet FBI agent Ford Devereaux, a man assigned to follow Mary in hopes of finding the jewels taken before the murder. At first, Ford believes Mary has them in her possesion and is part of a smuggling ring. But after he kidnaps her, for her own safety, and gets to know her, Ford realizes that Mary is only an innocent pawn who is now being hunted by a ruthless killer. Now on the run, Ford and Mary struggle to find a safe haven and survive long enough for Mary's innocence to be proven. Love was definitely the farthest thing on their minds, and the only thing they couldn't escape.

BEAUTY AND THE BADGE is a fast-paced read that will enthrall you until the very end. You'll love it. Trust me!

The Best Defense
Published in Paperback by Novelbooks Inc. (June, 2003)
Author: Todd A. Stone
Average review score:

A real tour de force
A real tour de force by Todd Stone-a military thriller written equally as much for women as for men. Some of the major characters in this book are women in the military, and not just as secondary characters, dropped in as window-dressing, but women with brutally important responsibilities in our military forces. The personal struggle Major Valerie Macintyre endures while surviving in this career, not to mention climbing toward and holding on to the same high rank her male counterparts can easily reach is understandable, at times infuriating, and always fascinating. We have foreign agents hiding nuclear weapons. We have an entire battalion of men in a remote area who have been genetically altered so that they cannot be stopped by normal means known to normal men. And we have military politics to contend with as this unusually diverse pot comes to a boil. This author proved himself to be a master storyteller when he wrote CLOSE TO HOME, and now this book has reinforced what a meticulous, brilliantly talented author he really is. Rugged, human and vital, THE BEST DEFENSE is another edge-of-your-seat thriller with a plot that's only too possible in today's world.

Best Test Design (Rasch Measurement Series)
Published in Paperback by MESA Press (30 March, 1979)
Authors: Benjamin D. Wright and Mark H. Stone
Average review score:

A good book to start with!
This book explains how the Rasch model imposes a measurement system upon data. It explains how counting is misleading and how the Rasch model permits sample-free item calibration and test-free person measures. The concept of fit is explained as well. While the formulae are included in this book, one does not have to be a mathematician to understand the ideas. This book will serve the novice and the veteran well.

Between Two Stones: Poems
Published in Paperback by Sheep Meadow Pr (01 November, 2002)
Author: Joshua Weitz
Average review score:

brilliant joshua
I haven't read every poem here, but what I've read is excellent. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr Weitz several years ago & having a few conversations about life and literature with him. What can I say but that he is a talented young man, a poet and a physicist (no, really - Ivy League and all). Poetry doesn't sell, but you should still buy his book. I didn't nickname him WonderBoy for nothing.
